I began quilting in 2010 when my niece was born. I was living in New York City at the time, in a teeny tiny apartment, and thought it would be a small project to make her a quilt. I could take it on the train with me, as I was sewing it all by hand. Now I know how naive I was. 2 sewing machines, 800 yards of fabric and 4 years later, I still enter each project with the thought that this will be so easy. You’d think I’d learn by now.
I currently love life in the Bay Area with my husband and little dog. When I’m not sewing, I work as a graphic designer and art director while dreaming of owning my own olive farm.
